Privacy Policy
This policy explains how PhysioSocial handles information associated with accounts, profiles, Pages, Groups, posts and uploaded content.
Effective date: 1 September 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to PhysioSocial websites, accounts, profiles, Pages, Groups, messaging, posts, comments, images, videos, documents, verification features and related services. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and Community Guidelines.
2. Information we may collect
- Account information: name, username, email address, phone number, account type and authentication-related records.
- Professional information: qualification, specialization, workplace, registration information, website and other details you choose to add.
- Profile and social information: biography, profile/cover images, connections, follows and public profile information.
- Page information: Page name, category, description, contact information, website, Page administrators, Page media and other information supplied by Page managers.
- Group information: Group name, description, membership, posts, moderation actions and related community activity.
- Content: posts, comments, images, videos, documents, messages and other material you upload or send through the service.

3. User profile privacy
Depending on your settings and the feature, profile information may be visible publicly, to PhysioSocial members, to connections, or only to you. Contact information such as email and phone may have separate visibility controls. You are responsible for choosing appropriate privacy settings and for information you voluntarily publish.
4. Page privacy
Pages are designed for public-facing professional or organizational presence. Information intentionally published on a public Page may be visible to other users and search systems. Page administrators should not publish confidential patient information, private employee records, government IDs or other sensitive personal data without a lawful basis and appropriate consent.
5. Images and photos
Images you upload may contain personal information, faces, documents, location metadata or other identifying material. You should have the necessary rights and consent before uploading an image involving another person. Do not upload another person's identity document or private photograph unless you are authorized to do so and the feature expressly permits it.
6. Videos
Uploaded videos may contain voices, faces, clinical demonstrations, workplace information or other personal information. You are responsible for obtaining appropriate permissions and ensuring that a video does not expose confidential patient or professional information.
7. Documents
Documents can contain highly sensitive information. Only upload documents when the relevant feature allows them and you have the right to provide them. Government IDs, registration certificates and verification documents should be submitted only through designated verification workflows. We may restrict, secure, review or delete documents for security, verification, legal or policy reasons.
8. Groups and communities
Group membership and activity may be visible according to the Group's privacy settings. Public Groups may expose posts and membership information more broadly than private Groups. Group administrators and moderators should handle member information responsibly and must follow applicable privacy and safety requirements.
9. Messages
Messages are intended for communication between users and may be processed or retained as necessary to deliver the service, protect users, investigate abuse, enforce policies and comply with legal obligations. Do not use messaging to exchange information that you are not authorized to disclose.
10. Verification and government ID
Verification information is used to assess eligibility and prevent impersonation or fraudulent claims. Where document upload is supported, access should be limited to authorized verification personnel and retained only as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, security and legal requirements. Future integrations such as DigiLocker may use separate authorization and privacy flows.

We may disclose information to service providers, security providers, professional reviewers or authorities when reasonably necessary to operate the service, protect users, investigate abuse, enforce policies or comply with law.
13. Retention
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including account operation, security, dispute resolution, verification records, legal compliance and prevention of repeat abuse. Retention periods may vary by data type.
14. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your password private, use a secure device and report suspected account compromise promptly.
15. Your choices and requests
Depending on the feature, you may edit profile information, change privacy settings, remove content, close your account or contact support regarding access, correction or deletion requests. Some information may need to be retained for security, legal, fraud-prevention or verification purposes.

PhysioSocial is intended for users who are legally able to use the service under applicable law. Do not create an account for another person without authorization. If you believe a minor's information has been submitted improperly, contact support.
17. Policy changes
We may update this policy as the platform and applicable requirements evolve. Material changes may be communicated through the service where appropriate. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
